Today was our first BAZBUS day! For those of you who don’t know, Baz Bus is our method of transportation for the duration of the trip – whom has actually won an award this year from Trip Advisor! The driver was hilarious, and VERY patient (we were all rather late for our arrival times)!

If you’re looking for a way to get around, Baz Bus is definitely the way to go! We cannot wait to hop on board to jet off to Durban, South Africa next!

We arrived at Inkosana Lodge in Drakensberg District around 3pm today. Not a word of a lie…. We have been to some beautiful countries before and we have been standing still for hours just staring speechless at the landscape, nothing you have ever seen before. I’ll make a video, I promise and Alicia has already taken some fantastic photos!

Edmund the Inkosana Lodge hostel owner made us dinner tonight – homemade bread, soup, salad and chocolate cake – needless to say we WILL be eating his home cooked meals for the next 2 days!

Exhausted and in need of settling in, Alicia and I went to our warm and quiet hotel like (yes, not hostel like) room. It is comfy, clean and so cute! Unaware of the time Alicia is fully showered, dressed and ready for bed. Then I mentioned to her it was only 8:00pm, whoops! Looks like our full Baz Bus experience was more exhausting than we thought (photo attached).

Don’t forget to check us out on Facebook (Hosteling International South Africa) and Twitter (@giveforgranted or @hisouthafrica) as well, we have more blogging adventures there!
