In preparation for our Ireland Road Trip, I’ve decided to do a little research on universal glamping locations. Of course my search quickly went from ‘glamping locations’ to ‘tree house hotels’ in a split second. Though I haven’t been to any of these, they are certainly places I’d love to add to the bucket list!

Any readers actually been to these locations? I’d love to hear your thoughts and suggestions! Any others worthy of being added to the list?

Bangkok Tree House, Thailand

The Bangkok Tree House in Thailand celebrates nature and eco friendly services in an extremely unique way. Of course the beauty of the destination was the first thing to catch my eye, the second? Their blog post ‘The Tree House is Not For Everyone.’ Straight forward, honest and with a subtle sense of humour. Not to mention, they’ve got an entire alphabet online showing their readers just how eco-friendly they really are!

TreeHouse Point, USA

The TreeHouse Point is a private event centre and overnight retreat located in Fall City, Washington, USA. The inspiration to include this incredible tree house in this post stems from their history and story. At the age of 5 the creator of TreeHouse Point already had visions of creating beautiful tree houses in the woods. In all of the projects on location there seems to be love and passion around every corner.

Treehotel, Sweden

Sweden is home to one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever set my eyes on. The Treehotel is more than just a tree house, but an artistic wilderness escape from it all. You can choose between a variety of rooms including the UFO, the Cabin, the Mirrorcube, the Bird’s Nest, the Blue Cone, the Tree Sauna, and the Dragonfly.

Tena Tena, Zambia

Tena Tena is one of many lodges owned by Robin Rope Safaris, though it’s certainly my favourite! Located in the South Luangwa National Park in Zambia, this is about as close as you can get to sleeping with the wild. Tena Tena looks like the perfect combination between luxury and wilderness.

Les Alicourts, France

Les Alicourts caught me by surprise. I was searching accommodations in France only to come across a completely normal webpage offering spa getaways and hotels. There was a link below titled ‘unusual accommodations’ and then I came across a mother load of various tree houses in the trees of the Sologne Loire Valley.
