The holidays have been so incredible so far and it wouldn’t have been the same without our stay at the MEININGER Frankfurt. Both the Airport Hotel and the City Center Hotel made our experience in Frankfurt so much more remarkable. And though I would love to blog about high class $1,000 per night hotel rooms, that’s not the reality of travel. The MEININGER is the definition of affordable class which is exactly where I love to be.
So without further ado, here are 8 wonderful reasons why you should be staying at the MEININGER Hotels not only for the holidays and not only within Frankfurt but all over Europe!

Affordable & Budget Friendly
You quickly realize that the MEININGER is among one of the most affordable hotels no matter what city you’re searching in. The best feature about the website today is that you can actually search and compare prices to find one that matches your budget. One night you could choose to stay in a dormitory at the MEININGER for as little as 15 Euros a night and the next, a private single room with en-suite bathroom.

Great Location
No matter what city you’re in, the MEININGER has wonderful locations. There is no need to be worried about booking a hotel in the middle of no where (like I have done many times before), as the MEININGER is always right in the center of all the action! Even when it comes to Frankfurt, most people use the city as a connection hub between flights, but the city is relatively far away. The MEININGER has a hotel next to the airport and a hotel in the city center, what could be better?

Cozy Beds
For what you’re paying to stay in the MEINNGER, pffft… this is luxury! A cozy bed, a comfortable sleep and none of those unnecessary gimmicks that the luxurious hotels are charging you more for even when you’re not using them.

Scrumptious Breakfast Option
I don’t know about you, but I’m one of those people who need eat the minute I wake up. If there is no food in the hotel, I will usually find myself buying a chocolate bar out of the vending machine before I pass out. The MEININGER clearly knows how to start me off on the right foot in the morning with a scrumptious breakfast and so much variety!

If you haven’t been following them on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+ or any of the other social media sites, you’re missing out. Incredible Staff
If you are well travelled and have experience hotel/hostel staff many times before, you might not think I am being judgemental when I say most expensive hotels treat you like royalty, while lower budget hotels could care less that you’re standing in front of them. The MEININGER totally broke my theory wrong, they were the sweetest most accommodating staff and it was such a pleasure to stay at their hotel.

Tons of Selection
I am going to come clean and tell you all one of my greatest pet peeves when I’m booking hotels as a solo traveller. What is it? Well… when I’m looking for a hotel because I’m not interested in staying in some musty old hostel and I haven’t showered in a few days, I’m not looking to pay three times the price for my own king size bed and flat screen TV. Unfortunately, there usually is no in between. I can’t tell you enough how perfect the MEININGER is in this scenario. They don’t only offer twin rooms, but single rooms, multi-bed rooms and dorm rooms.

A Great Company
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions but if you haven’t stayed at a MEININGER before I would suggest you check it out. You can’t tell me it’s too expensive because it most definitely is the best ‘bang for your buck’. After trying out two MEININGER Hotels and one soon to follow, I can confidently say that I truly believe the MEININGER is a great company!
So at the moment, I can definitely vouch for the MEININGER Hotel Frankfurt Airport and Convention Center Hotels, I definitely do not doubt it for a moment that their other hotels are just as perfect!
