A place literally off the beaten track, so much so that you are 99% likely to get lost before arriving. A place where leaving the facilities is unnecessary because as much as you may need off the lot… there’s more to be done while you’re here!

Now that you’re fully up-to-date on the world of glamping and all the exciting parts to luxury camping, let me show you around one of our favorite glamp sites in Ireland:
Yurts
Take your pick at Emerald Glamping as the family has been working hard to satisfy the needs of many. Whether you’re looking for a honeymoon getaway, a family vacation or a weekend away with friends, there’s a yurt for everyone.
My two friends and I were spoiled enough to be spending the night in the Plum Tree Yurt.
The Plum Tree holds up to 4 people which is perfect for any getaway. While in the middle of the wilderness this room is pure luxury. With a beautiful skylight above to let the morning sun shine in and sweet plum coloured decor, this place is quite the sight to see!

Facilities
You’ll drive up to Emerald Glamping not actually knowing if you’re at the right place at all. There’s actually an old sign warning you that you’re entering a gun club – surprise! It’s a beautiful and peaceful getaway at Emerald Glamping – haha!
The grounds are beautiful, covered in flowers and even better than your cottage. The family is in the midst of building even bigger and better things along the way, don’t be surprised if you visit and there’s much more than I’ve listed below. At the moment they’re working on a beautiful hand made outdoor pizza oven!

Activities
Though we were only there for the night to experience what glamping was really like, I took a little walk around to see what there was to do. I am also eager to get back to Ireland so I can actually partake in a few of these activities offered at Emerald Glamping.
