Though a typical blog post about a hotel or accommodation may be simply an exchange for a bed to sleep in, this time it is much, much more!
The Circus Hostel kindly hosted at least 20+ international travel bloggers this week for the ITB Conference in Berlin, Germany.

Of course the experience of having met old friends and new friends brought my rating of The Circus Hostel over the top, but the actual place itself is incredible. Here is why:
Feat. David Hasselhof
A museum. A David Hasselhof museum. Inside a hotel. It’s true, and to top it all off the hotel manager allowed the bloggers of The Circus Hotel to kick off the launch party and opening of the museum. Explore this small but cherished museum and learn all about David Hasselhof’s history as you stroke his chest hair placed strategically on the wall as you enter.
Fun Facts:
– 1989 David helped to tear down the Berlin wall
– Starring in Bay Watch and Night Rider, David is one of the most watched TV Stars in the world

Tour de Bier | The Circus Hostel Brewing Co.
Quite often I end up blogging about the quality of the beds, personalities of receptionists and taste of the food. One word can sum that all up for you – AMAZING, now onto the good stuff.

The Circus Hotel just recently invested in owning their own brewing company in the basement bar. This is where we kicked off the David Hasselhof launch party and celebrated the ending of the ITB conference.
They run a Tour de Bier program where they take you through thousands of miles of beer knowledge from accross Germany right in their own brew house. Pretty cool.

FREE City Tours & Do-it-Yourself Tours
My kind of sightseeing. Perhaps it’s my backpackers mentality or perhaps I just don’t like dropping $50 on a tour that will likely put me to sleep, either way… I’m not a big ‘tour’ person. When someone offers me a tour for free, or let’s me plan my own DIY tour, I’m all in!
Though I’m sure The Circus staff could most definitely charge for their tours thanks to the incredible, down to earth staff and their knowledge of Berlin’s history, it’s nice to come check in and then get introduced to all the amazing perks you have when staying at the place.

KATZ & MAUS Cafe Bar
My breakfast haven. They have options between a light meal for less than 2 euros of the hefty all-you-can-eat meal for 5 euros. Talk about affordable… not to mention DELICIOUS!
Open all day for breakfast, lunch and dinner at an affordable price, it is no reason why everyone continues to come back to The Circus Hostel even after checking out.

With the people I met and the things I experienced, there is no doubt in my mind that I WILL BE BACK.
As The Hoff says “Embrace Everything”!
