So I’ve been building up this blog on www.adventure-life.com in order to set a tone for my travel blog: Give for Granted. I’ve put together pieces from many of the countries I’ve already visited in hopes to inspire other travellers to explore sustainably.
I blog about more than just ‘the best eco-destinations,’ I blog about REALITY and realistic trips and destinations for any average person.
Many of us work 9-5 jobs, and in Canada many of us have 1 – 2 weeks vacation. I understand when you say,
“I care about sustainability, I do, but it’s my week… my week to hangout, relax, with a cocktail in hand on the beach!”
So I’ve tried to put together some inspiring posts on Adventure Life to show you how easy it is to travel sustainably no matter where your adventures might take you!
- Adventure Tours in Jamaica
- Living Local in Cuba
- Saying No in Cayman Islands
- Cruisin’ Through the USA
- Future Plans in India
- Backpacking Through South Africa
- Eating Green in Germany
- Castle Adventures in Luxembourg
To my surprise, I’ve been selected as one of five semi-finalists to win this incredible trip to the Galapagos Islands and now it’s all coming down to votes. Whoever can rack up the most votes by the end of the four week period (until September 21, 2015) will win this trip of a life time!
So here’s why I need your vote:

Education
I’ve been blogging about sustainable and philanthropic travel for a while now, yet I always find there’s so much more to learn about responsible travel. I would love to get a little more insight into corporations like Adventure Life who run tours and trips for people who are passionate about responsible travel. I believe this is the future of tomorrow’s travel industry and it’s certainly worth educating myself on!

More Content For You
Of course I’d be blogging all of my wonderful experiences online at Give for Granted. I would love to write up many inspiring posts to share to you. I’d be updating tweets and Instagram photos with all my favourite photos from the trip.

Surprise!
I am more often than not a solo traveller which has put quite a damper on the way my life runs back home. I have an incredible boyfriend back at home who I’ve been wanting to take on a real trip for such a long time. It is my plan that if I win this trip, I’ll take him for his 31st birthday on the adventure of a lifetime! (he rarely reads my blog content, so I’d be surprised if he read this one – haha)
